Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with 18 hours of graduate courses in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Previous successful experience teaching Psychology at university or community college level; professional experience may count.
• Demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and commitment to student success.
• Excellent computer and multimedia skills.

Responsibilities

• Teaches no more than 9 credit hours per semester (up to 75%).
• Works as a team member in the Social Sciences Department; complies with college policies.
• Contributes to campus assessment by measuring and reporting student learning outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Dean, Associate Dean or Department Chair.
