Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Learning Coach to work in person at NYC or Miami campuses, with relocation support. You will coach Guides and students using data to drive measurable improvements, while delivering workshops and one-on-one coaching for K-3 learners.

You will build coaching playbooks, mentor Guides, and help raise standards across the school, developing independent learners and life skills. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years in education are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working with elementary-aged children (approx. ages 5-9).
• Experience leading teams of five or more people, including performance management and hiring decisions.
• Experience building, launching, or growing a program rather than maintaining one.
• Demonstrated success using data and measurable outcomes to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data, classroom observations, and direct feedback to achieve measurable improvements.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 students focused on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, focus, and life skills.
• Lead coaching sessions that connect student motivation to academic growth and independence.
• Build and refine repeatable coaching playbooks to raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides while modeling exceptional coaching and facilitation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or a related field

Experience leading teams of five or more people

Experience building, launching, or growing a program

Data-driven approach to coaching and performance

Public speaking and facilitation with young children
