Job summary

Framework Development Group is seeking dedicated tutors to deliver high-impact, in-person tutoring to K–12 students across New Mexico during the 2026–2027 school year. This role focuses on small-group instruction in mathematics and/or English Language Arts, using a structured curriculum and data-informed strategies.

Tutors will travel to assigned schools statewide, maintain attendance and progress records, and collaborate with program staff to align tutoring with classroom instruction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Prior teaching or instructional experience (classroom teaching, intervention support, tutoring, or academic coaching).
  • Strong knowledge of instructional practices in mathematics and/or literacy.
  • Ability to support diverse learners, including multilingual learners.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned school sites within New Mexico.
  • Tutors must provide their own laptop to use for daily lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person, high-impact tutoring in math and/or ELA to small groups of students (up to 4 students per group).
  • Provide consistent, standards-aligned instruction based on New Mexico academic standards.
  • Use student data and diagnostic information to guide instruction and group students appropriately.
  • Implement structured lesson plans with explicit instruction, guided practice, student response, and ongoing checks for understanding.
  • Provide immediate feedback and targeted support to address student learning needs.
  • Build strong, consistent relationships with assigned students to support engagement and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with program staff and school partners to align tutoring with classroom instruction and school priorities.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, progress, and session documentation.
