Saint Joseph's University is seeking part-time adjunct instructors for the Economics Department to staff ECN101 and ECN102. Courses are in-person on the Hawk Hill campus in Philadelphia, with teaching assignments potentially one or two courses per semester on an as-needed basis.

Rooted in a Jesuit tradition, SJU hires non-tenure track adjuncts and evaluates candidates based on credentials, teaching experience, and scheduling flexibility.

Qualificações

• Minimum: Master's Degree in Economics or a closely related field and previous teaching experience of ECN101 and/or ECN102.
• Preferred: ABD or PhD in economics, previous teaching experience, and flexible in class scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support and guidance to students
• Instruct an assigned course, providing syllabi and other instructional materials
• Use of university learning management systems to deliver instruction
• Cooperating with the department chair or other program faculty to assure quality and consistency across the program
