Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
• College coursework or CDA or degree in early education preferred.
• 1 year teaching experience in child care/preschool preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.
• IL Teacher Qualified requirements as specified in IL guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
