Job summary

Bright Horizons in Seattle, WA is seeking an Assistant Teacher for full-time hours 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will assist with activities, communicate with families, and help maintain a safe classroom in a caring early-education environment.

Candidates must pass background checks and meet education requirements; state and company preferences include a CDA or higher degree. Bright Horizons supports growth and education at no cost through CDA/degree programs.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and Bright Horizons; meet state and company education and experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.

Education

High school diploma or GED

CDA / Associate / Bachelor’s degree in early education or related field (preferred)
