Under supervision of the principal and pastor, the teacher will plan lessons aligned with Indiana standards, use the Learning Management System, differentiate instruction, assess progress, and participate in professional growth to uphold the school's mission and Catholic values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Secondary Education.
• Indiana Teaching License (Secondary).
• Safe Parish Child Protection Training.
• Criminal Background Check.
• Willingness to participate in faith formation and Archdiocesan requirements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates faith formation, praying with students, families and colleagues as appropriate.
• Designs annual plans, unit plans and daily lesson plans aligned to Indiana standards.
• Uses the Learning Management System and varies learning experiences for all students.
• Collaborates with teacher teams to support diverse learners and selects appropriate instructional materials.
• Differentiates instruction and uses data to inform teaching and assesses student progress.
• Maintains a positive, Christ-centered learning environment and communicates progress to parents and teams.
