Club Z! Tutoring of Bethesda is seeking a warm, engaging elementary math tutor to work in person with a 2nd-grade student in the Rockville area.

The role focuses on Grade 2 math topics, uses hands-on models and fosters math discourse aligned with MCPS Amplify Desmos Math expectations, while communicating progress to families.

Competitive pay starts at $31 per hour with flexible scheduling and a supportive team.

Formación

• Experience teaching/tutoring elementary math (Grades 1–5).
• Familiarity with MCPS math expectations and Amplify Desmos Math.
• Ability to support different learning needs and build confidence in young learners.
• Reliable transportation and comfort working with parents.
• Professional, punctual, responsive, and student‑first.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 in-home tutoring for a Grade 2 student in the 20852 area.
• Align sessions to MCPS Amplify Desmos Math concepts and classroom expectations.
• Use hands‑on models/visual strategies (number lines, base‑ten blocks, drawings, arrays, etc.).
• Communicate clearly with our office team regarding scheduling and student progress.
• Submit weekly session reports/invoices.
