Job summary

Lakeview Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide diagnostic evaluations and prescribe treatment in accordance with applicable regulations. Qualifications

• One year minimum practice experience as a PMHNP.
• Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Certification as a PMHNP by the Florida Board of Nursing.
• Active Florida license required.
• DEA eligibility and Suboxone certification within 30 days.
• Able to pass organization background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly MSO meetings.
• Document psychiatric services within designated time frames.
• Identify and promote system changes to improve treatment quality.
• Participate in case staffing and conferences with treatment.
• Make independent medical judgments and seek consultation when needed.
• Provide medication-assisted treatment with dispensing capabilities.
