Scarborough Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-patient care as part of an inter-professional team. The successful candidate will be scheduled at any SHN hospital based on departmental needs and must hold a valid Ontario OT license with mandatory liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy and Licensing with the College of Occupational Therapists is mandatory
• Liability insurance confirmed
• Proven interpersonal relationship skills and good judgment
• Demonstrated skills and expertise in efficient and effective patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide care on in-patient units using recognized occupational therapy practices
• Participate in inter-professional patient and family conferences as needed
• Liaise with community-based providers and participate in team meetings
