Job summary

United Placement Group in Bradenton, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our in-office team and support financial health. You will prepare, analyze, and review GAAP-compliant statements, file tax returns, conduct audits, provide advisory services, and help manage budgets while building strong client relationships.

A CPA license is preferred; a Bachelor's in Accounting is required, with experience in QuickBooks or NetSuite and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• CPA license preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, with advisory services.
• Conduct audits to evaluate financial health and compliance, recommending improvements.
• Provide advisory services on business strategies, investments, and risk management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Develop, manage, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts with clear reports.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with professional communication.
