Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required.
• Member of the California bar necessary.
• Must have first or second chair trial experience.
• Insurance defense experience in automobile, personal injury, and premises liability preferred.
• Ability to manage a demanding workload with strong prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate lawsuits to gather relevant information and devise defense strategies.
• Identify potential risks to policyholders or the company.
• Create a plan for collecting evidence and file necessary motions.
• Attend and prepare for court proceedings related to cases.
• Communicate regularly with policyholders and claims representatives.
• Participate in negotiation and settlement discussions.
