Job summary

Bonitz, Inc. is seeking a full-time commercial installer who can lead and influence internal teams and external stakeholders.

The role focuses on managing the installation of flooring, drywall, and cladding systems, while building long-term relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, owners, and end users. The ideal candidate has strong communication, organizational, and safety skills, with experience in commercial construction and the ability to read blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload of materials.
• Installation of flooring, drywall, cladding systems.
• Maintaining equipment and tools. Job site clean-up.
• Complete pre-work for installation, may include leveling floor, floor removal, moving furniture, etc.
• Use common hand tools such as saws, finish nails, utility knives, etc.
• Installer’s will interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner.
• Responsible to properly handle company machinery and power tools.
• Installer’s will review each work order.
• Installer’s are responsible for each project and the quality of the work completed.

The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and sustain long-term relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, owners, end users, and internal team members. This person is an expert at learning and understanding the industry and manages overall implementation of multiple projects, safely and with high quality.

Bonitz designs and installs custom flooring, walls, ceilings, and cladding systems. We offer access, terrazzo and other specialty flooring as well as floor care. Position Essential Duties:

• Load and unload of materials
• Installation of flooring, drywall, cladding systems

Education/Experience and Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Safety Requirements:

• Safety Inspection(s) on all jobsite
• Ensure that all safety training and certifications are up to date or scheduled.
• Stay compliant with all Bonitz safety polices to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
• Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks.
• Up to date knowledge of requirements for necessary equipment and training per job.
