Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead designer on a variety of residential and infrastructure development projects.
• Leverage advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and CAD standards to create and review project models, plans, and designs.
• Develop comprehensive designs for drainage, grading, and site infrastructure while addressing complex site constraints.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, CAD designers, technicians, and sub‑consultants, to deliver successful projects.
• Ensure quality control of all design elements and deliverables before external release.
• Analyze and interpret local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring all designs meet compliance standards.
• Oversee project schedules and budgets, maintaining clear communication with project managers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical project challenges independently.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Certification in CAD software and Civil 3D platform.
• 10+ years of CAD and Civil 3D experience, with 5+ years in detailed land development engineering.
• Strong knowledge of GIS is a plus.
• Proven ability to mentor CAD drafters and engineering interns.
• Exceptional multitasking and decision‑making skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
