Job summary

Avir at Park in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will administer prescribed PT treatments and work under a Physical Therapist to support residents with person-centered care and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license as Physical Therapy Assistant.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health EMR is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to residents with different personalities.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PT treatments to relieve pain and restore function.
• Provide PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Relay information and referrals to the PT on request.
• Assist in implementing and adjusting the treatment plan.
• Record motor function, strength, and progression data.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions with the team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory standards.
