Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of photography experience.

Job description

This role specializes in dynamic, scroll-stopping social media photography for Remember Media’s clients that range in all diverse industries. Our clients are nonprofits, neighborhoods, restaurants, artists, event spaces, eCommerce shops that sell specialty products, real estate accounts, sports and wellness-related industries, and more. Our In-House Photographer will be responsible for shooting and editing timely and engaging content every day and working alongside our account managers to capture the moments that resonate most with our client’s audiences.

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Photography, Arts, Marketing, or similar field of degree relating to creativity
• Minimum 5 years of photography experience
• Deep passion for a career within social media and on top of current photography trends
• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Proven experience of lighting, storage, and organization tools
• Eager to cultivate a culture of brave work, tough conversations and whole hearts
• Excellent attention to detail and always strives to learn & adapt to changing expectations
• Able to meet tight monthly content deadlines
• Ability to stand and move around for long periods of time
• Self-starter, deadline-driven and extremely organized
• Must have reliable transportation to and from office & flexible for daily travel around town
• Enjoys a collaborative environment and supporting clients with achieving their goals
• Highly energetic, positive and flexible

Responsibilities

• Take professional photos of diverse locations and subjects that meet brand guidelines
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to produce high-quality, engaging work for social media
• Use different techniques to enhance photography or meet current trends
• Perform edits with Lightroom and other Adobe Suite tools as needed
• Recommend creative ideas to complement Social Media Manager to reach each account’s goals
• Review and cull photos to keep Remember Media’s files organized
• Operate various equipment and arrange sets/scenes to achieve best results
• Direct models and participants as the lead of the photoshoot
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and respect
• Support with mobile video recording as needed
• Arrive with a positive mindset and enthusiasm to tackle every day
• Build trust as Remember Media’s Photographer through always learning & being visible
• Excellent, streamlined communication and strong organizational methods
• Regularly analyze best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and execute accordingly
• Collaborate with team on projects and share photography best practices to learn & grow together
• Perform routine platform optimization and other administrative duties for Remember Media
