Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Patent Counsel to join its in‑house IP team in Audubon, Pennsylvania. The role is hands‑on, focusing on patent preparation and prosecution while collaborating closely with engineers and product developers.

The successful candidate will lead meetings with engineers, perform substantive drafting and prosecution, and contribute to product clearance and global IP strategy. In‑office position with possible relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another hard engineering discipline with related prosecution experience.
• Strong experience drafting and prosecuting patents involving sophisticated technologies.
• Excellent communication skills to work with engineers, inventors, and product teams.
• USPTO registration and an active state bar license.

A growing medtech company is seeking a Patent Counsel to join its established in‑house IP team in Audubon, Pennsylvania. This is a hands‑on role well‑suited for a patent attorney who enjoys substantive preparation and prosecution work and wants the opportunity to work directly with engineers and product development teams.

The position will focus primarily on patent preparation and prosecution, along with product clearance and broader IP counseling. The attorney will work closely with inventors and technical teams throughout the development process, including participating in and leading meetings with engineers and product stakeholders.

Qualified candidates will have:

• 4+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience, preferably with a law firm
• An undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another hard engineering discipline and related prosecution experience
• Strong experience drafting and prosecuting patents involving sophisticated technologies
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence and personality to work directly with engineers, inventors, and product development teams
• USPTO registration and an active state bar license

This is a full-time, five-day-per-week in-office position in Audubon, PA. Some relocation assistance may be available.
