Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Central City, NE seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. You will work with licensed therapists to deliver patient-centered occupational therapy and support residents’ daily living activities.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy and active OTA licensure, with ongoing education. You’ll screen residents, implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine appropriate intervention.
• Perform treatment plans and follow established goals with supervision from therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents and interdisciplinary team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules in cooperation with team members.
• Conduct therapy according to treatment plans and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Perform other duties to effectively treat patients and comply with CMS documentation standards.
