Job summary

Regency Hermiston is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving residents in a state-of-the-art therapy gym. The OT will evaluate, plan, organize and administer therapy services in accordance with standards to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the assigned state.

Responsibilities

• Support Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistants by providing periodic training and guidance.
• Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with clinic directives.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic procedures and a full range of therapy services in support of patient referrals.
• Develop realistic and documented treatment goals and plan written treatment programs based on evaluations.
• Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function and instruct patients in daily living activities and use of assistive devices.
• Record treatment, response and progress in patient chart and educate patients and families for home care.
• Coordinate treatment with physicians and other staff to optimize patient outcomes.
