Job summary

All Star Healthcare Solutions represents a facility in Indiana seeking OB/GYN locum coverage. In-house call coverage includes 12-hour shifts Mon-Thu (19:00-07:00) and 24-hour shifts Fri-Sun (07:00-07:00).

Responsibilities include obstetrical and gynecologic care, ED consultations, labor/delivery, admissions and inpatient care; clinic coverage may be needed as outpatient access remains limited. Board-certified with ABLS and Level III trauma experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN required.
• ABLS certification required.
• Experience with obstetrics and gynecology in a hospital setting preferred.

• In-house call coverage
  • Monday-Thursday: 12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00)
  • Friday-Sunday: 24-hour shifts (07:00-07:00)
• Responsibilities:
  • Manage obstetrical patients
  • Manage gynecologic patients
  • Emergency Department consultations
  • Labor and delivery
  • Admissions
  • Inpatient care
  • Potential clinic coverage
• Primary need is call/in-house coverage; however, providers willing to assist with clinic coverage are also welcomed, as outpatient access is currently limited.
• Typically, one midwife is on call alongside the physician.
• No formal teaching responsibilities anticipated for this assignment.
• Volume:
  • Approximately 1,600 deliveries annually
  • Average of 10 patients per shift
  • Approximately 5 admissions per shift, largely based on delivery volume
