The selected candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to the business, managing complex international contracts and ensuring robust compliance frameworks.Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance: Manage U.S. and international regulatory compliance, proactively advising on legal risks and policy updates.
• Export Control & Sanctions: Oversee compliance with U.S. export control laws (such as EAR and ITAR) and sanctions programs, managing classifications, licensing, and trade compliance risks.
• Cross-Border Advisory: Serve as the strategic legal advisor for international business operations and U.S.-related affairs.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal exposure across business units and develop practical, solutions-oriented safeguards.
• Counsel Management: Act as the primary internal contact for U.S. legal matters and coordinate with external counsel when required.

Eligibility:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience, ideally combining top-tier law firm training with in-house corporate experience.
• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or Master of Laws (LL.M.).
• Bar Admission: Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• Language: Fluent in English (proficient in legal drafting and negotiation) and Mandarin (written and spoken).
