Lily Pond Services LLC is seeking a full-time Landscape Designer to oversee three prestigious estate properties and build an in-house team across NY locations. The role emphasizes minimalist, refined landscapes inspired by Monet-like natural beauty, blending rustic charm with Japanese minimalism.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in landscape architecture, design, or high-end estate landscape management.
• Proven expertise in minimalistic landscape design with a refined portfolio.
• Experience with museum landscapes, art-integrated designs, or comparable high-caliber environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of regional plant species and horticultural practices for NY climates.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills for multi-property management.
• Excellent communication for collaboration with owners, staff, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, design, and enhancement of landscapes across three estate properties in NY.
• Design and implement minimalistic, high-end landscapes aligning with aesthetic vision.
• Manage groundskeeping tasks including planting, pruning, irrigation, and seasonal care.
• Lead transition to in-house landscaping operation, improving efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with property owner to integrate art installations and sculptural elements.
• Supervise contractors and staff, aligning work with aesthetic and functional goals.
• Monitor landscape health, addressing pests, soil quality, and irrigation using sustainable practices.
• Provide updates and strategic recommendations to the owner for long-term planning.
