Job summary

US Oral Surgery Management seeks an experienced in-house attorney to serve as Assistant General Counsel, partnering with leadership across operations, HR, finance, and clinical teams. The role focuses on strategic advice, contract governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management to support a growing multi-state dental practice network.

You will manage complex transactions, including healthcare M&A, contract negotiations, and employment matters, ensuring privacy and corporate practice

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of combined law-firm and in-house experience, healthcare industry preferred.
• Broad knowledge of transactions, contracts, healthcare regulatory, compliance, and employment law.
• Ability to independently own matters from draft to negotiation and close.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house legal counsel to leadership across functions (operations, finance, HR, IT, real estate, clinical practices).
• Lead or support practice acquisitions, de novo openings, and other strategic transactions (LOIs, due diligence, leases, closings).
• Negotiate and review employment, vendor, real estate, and payer contracts; develop templates and workflows.
