Job summary

KTGY is seeking an In-House Counsel to support architecture, interior design and urban design practices. You will negotiate contracts, manage insurance and help shape corporate policies.

A collaborative, business‑mocused approach and the ability to work across technical and support teams are essential. The ideal candidate will possess a JD with bar admission, at least 3 years of experience, and a background in Architecture, Engineering or homebuilder fields is a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree with admission to at least one bar.
• Experience in architecture, engineering or homebuilder fields preferred.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate design service contracts nationwide and internationally for residential, senior living, hospitality, retail and mixed‑use projects.
• Draft sub consultant contracts, vendor agreements, settlements and NDAs.
• Manage insurance policies and liaison with brokers.
• Coordinate special projects needing legal expertise and liaise with outside counsel on litigation.
• Communicate legal concepts clearly to architects and non-attorneys.
