Medi Home Health and Hospice, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., is seeking a Part-Time Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our Home Health team serving Fredericksburg and surrounding areas in Virginia. You will provide in-home speech therapy, improving communication and swallowing abilities, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology, an active Virginia license, and at least 1 year of verifiable speech therapy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
• Active Speech Therapist license in Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable speech therapy experience.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Deliver speech-language pathology services according to physician's plan of care.
• Evaluate patients using appropriate speech, hearing, and language assessments.
• Assist in developing and updating individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to care team.
• Educate patients and caregivers on speech therapy strategies.
• Recommend additional audiological testing when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
