Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home therapy across Maine for a nonprofit home and community healthcare organization. You will assess, treat, educate, and discharge plan clients to improve communication, feeding, and oral-motor skills in various home and community settings.

The role collaborates with families, physicians, and case managers, maintains compliance with home health regulations, and supports client independence.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Speech-Language Pathology/SLP
• CCC-SLP certification required
• Current Maine license and CPR certification
• 至少1年临床语言治疗经验优先
• Home health experience preferred
• Knowledge of ASHA standards and payer requirements
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home speech-language therapy per physician orders and policies
• Perform screenings, evaluations, treatments, and family education
• Assess language, feeding, oral-motor, and related skills
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans with measurable outcomes
• Document interventions, progress, and discharge plans accurately
• Coordinate with families, physicians, and care team
• Meet regulatory and reimbursement documentation standards
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
• Maintain licensure and clinical competency
• Ensure safe home environments and patient confidentiality
