Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver in-home services in the Pittsburgh area. Candidates will assess and treat hearing, swallowing, and language impairments with a focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include evaluating speech abilities, planning rehabilitative services, documenting progress, and guiding families. A Master's in SLP and active licensure are required, along with CPR/First Aid certification and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
Current unrestricted SLP licensure to practice in the relevant state is required.
CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification is required.
Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations is required.
At least 1 year of professional SLP experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home programs for treating hearing, swallowing, and language impairments.
Evaluate patient speech and language abilities and perform periodic reevaluations.
Plan and provide rehabilitative services for speech and language conditions and administer diagnostic/therapeutic techniques.
Record treatment types and progress in clinical notes and maintain patient records.
Educate caregivers and family members in methods to aid patients.
