Job summary

Human Touch Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home-based services in the Colorado Springs region. The role requires at least one year of speech pathology experience, a Colorado SLP license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation for up to 20 miles travel.

A home health background is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth. Typical visits last about one hour, with a competitive per-visit rate of $70–$80.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in speech pathology.
• Home health experience preferred.
• License as an SLP in the State of Colorado (Colorado)
• Must have reliable transportation and company-required auto liability insurance.
• Willing to travel within 20 miles radius.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides services in speech pathology or audiology in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
• Assists the physician in assessing the client's level of functioning and development of the plan of care.
• Records and reports the client's reaction to treatment to the physician and case manager.
• Instructs and advises the client, family, and other health team personnel in speech pathology.
• Recommends hearing tests by audiologist when necessary.
• Participates in weekly case conference or in-service.
