Job summary

Tutor Doctor SWNGS (Shrewsbury, Westborough, Northborough, Grafton, Southborough) provides one-to-one in-home tutoring tailored to each student’s needs in the Worcester County area. This position offers part-time, in-home engagements with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in education or special education.
• At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in science, preferably with students who have special needs.
• Familiarity with K-12 curriculum across elementary to high school.
• Knowledge of IEPs and 504 accommodations.
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one tutoring in ELA, MATH and other subjects as needed
• Adapt lessons to meet each student’s needs
• Work with students with IEPs/504 plans
• Create personalized lesson plans aligned with school curricula
• Use hands-on activities and multi-sensory strategies
• Track student progress and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
