Job summary

Waypoint Maine, Inc. is seeking a Shared Living Provider to host an adult with a developmental disability in your home. This contracted role focuses on education, employment, recreation, family inclusion, health, and independent living skills as part of a supportive team.

The position requires a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. DSP and CPR certifications are required or training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass background check(s).
• Experience working with individuals with ID/DD is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Share your home to support an adult with a developmental disability to live in a family setting.
• Provide education, employment, recreation, family inclusion, health/mental health, and independent living skills.
• Be part of the person's team to identify and achieve personal life goals.
