Amada Senior Care in Houston, TX is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers for in-home, non-medical care for seniors. You will provide companionship, assist with hygiene and mobility, and support daily living tasks to help clients maintain independence at home.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of your home.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Compassionate, dependable, supportive and professional attitude.

Responsabilités

• Providing companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
• Assisting with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility inside and outside the home, including walks and doctor's appointments
• Planning and preparing meals
• Completing grocery shopping or accompanying clients on shopping trips
• Performing basic housekeeping dutiesReporting unusual incidents and responding appropriately to emergencies
• Assisting with activities essential to daily living
