Job summary

Senior Helpers of Surrey North is urgently hiring for caregivers! If you have experience in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or healthcare, we’d love for you to join our team.

We’ll fit your area of expertise to the seniors you’ll care for. We align your expertise with the seniors you care for, performing ADLs, providing companionship, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must have BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry certificate or active nursing license or equivalent.
• Driver's license and access to a car.
• Ability to speak Hebrew.
• Caring and compassionate; enjoys helping others.
• Willingness to learn new skills to assist clients.
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, or nursing assistance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and activities.
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying.
