Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC seeks in-home aides to provide one-to-one care in Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston Counties. The team delivers compassionate, personalized support to help seniors remain independent at home with dignity.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to follow care plans. Part-time positions include days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights. CNA license is not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required, and current insurance.
• Must adhere to plans of care for client.
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs.
• One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred.
• Must have good communication skills and active listening.
• Must remain calm in emergent situations and inform staff of changes to client status.
• Pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping duties for the client.
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion.
