Job summary

Happier At Home - Northeast Iowa is hiring in-home senior caregivers to help clients live safely and comfortably at home. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and support families with dependable, compassionate care.

The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks. Prior caregiving experience is preferred, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement as you make a meaningful

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
