Job summary

Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington is seeking caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support for seniors in Essex, VT and surrounding areas. Join a growing family focused on companionship, personal care, and wellness in clients’ homes with flexible start dates and near-home assignments.

You will deliver personalized care plans, build relationships with clients and families, and enjoy the support of a 24-hour local Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Non-medical, in-home support for seniors.
• Flexible schedule: part-time or full-time; days, evenings, overnights, weekdays or weekends.
• Respectful, caring interaction with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect personal care to clients in the home setting.
• Establish and maintain professional communication with clients, families, and coworkers.
• Follow the personal care service plan and assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Help keep the client’s environment clean and organized.
• Remind clients to take self-administered medications as prescribed.
