Job summary

StudyPoint is seeking SAT/ACT tutors to work with students in their homes across Houston and surrounding areas. Tutors may also assist with math, science, and study skills tutoring, providing personalized, curriculum-based instruction using StudyPoint materials.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of tutoring, a bachelor's degree, and a strong academic background. Reliable car access is preferred for travel to students’ homes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong academic background.
• Confidence tutoring ALL sections of the SAT/ACT including verbal and math (Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry).
• Reliable car access to travel to students’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in their homes, delivering SAT/ACT and academic support.
• Follow StudyPoint curriculum and provide progress updates to families.
• Travel to assigned students and manage your availability and schedule.
