Job summary

Top Score Education Inc. is seeking part-time, in-home SAT/ACT tutors to serve the DC metro region, including Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Sessions run after school and on weekends, with flexible hours (4-10 PM weekdays).

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of SAT/ACT tutoring and a 95th percentile score or higher. Starting pay ranges from $55 to $85 per hour, with potential to earn up to $100 per hour based on experience and tenure, plus travel and training benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of SAT/ACT tutoring experience.
• SAT/ACT score at 95th percentile or higher.
• Excellent communicator and team player.
• Highly organized with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 120-minute private, in-home SAT/ACT tutoring sessions.
• Create customized lesson plans to address individual student needs.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents and students to build rapport.
• Collaborate with the Top Score team to track progress and refine strategies.
• Complete training to ensure you’re equipped with best tools and strategies.
