Location: Metro Detroit, MI
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends
We’re looking for a confident, people-focused In-Home Sales Consultant to join our growing team at Aaron’s Estate Sales. This is not retail sales—this is consultative, in-home relationship building. You’ll meet with prospective clients in their homes, evaluate their needs, explain our services, and guide them through the decision-making process with care and clarity.
Your work will be the bridge between a client’s overwhelming situation and a well-run, professional estate sale solution. You’ll help clients see the value in what we do—and why we’re the best at doing it.
Attend pre-scheduled appointments with inbound leads (no cold calling)
Build trust quickly and deliver a professional, empathetic consultation
Evaluate the home and its contents to determine the best service fit
Clearly explain our services, pricing structure, and process
Handle questions and objections with confidence and compassion
Close contracts and coordinate hand-off to our internal teams
Log activities and updates into our CRM to keep our team aligned
Support follow-up communication to close deals and enhance client experience
Participate in on-site training and shadowing during your onboarding period
This role starts with a hands-on, 2–3 month training program where you’ll:
Work at live estate sales to understand our service model
Shadow experienced consultants to learn best practices
Complete customized exercises designed to sharpen your understanding of our brand, process, and clientele

Are a confident, natural closer who builds trust quickly
Have experience in in-home sales, real estate, senior services, or other high-trust sales environments
Can explain value clearly and overcome objections professionally
Are an excellent communicator—both verbal and written
Love working with people and solving problems on the spot
Are comfortable entering and working in a variety of home settings
Are tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and organized
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally in consultative or in-home roles
Experience with CRMs or sales tracking tools is a plus
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Bonus points for knowledge of antiques, vintage items, collectibles, or estate sales
