This position will be remote but must be based in the Leesburg, VA area.

Job Description

We are seeking a Design Associate to join our team. This full-time role involves visiting clients' homes, presenting flooring options, and coordinating with our team to ensure customer satisfaction. The position requires travel within our region, using a company-provided van, and involves working some evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients at their homes to discuss flooring projects
• Use our sales system via tablet, laptop, and software
• Serve as the main contact for customer service requests
• Communicate customer needs to the Install Manager
• Build and maintain customer relationships and generate referrals
• Develop business partnerships and generate leads through networking

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with flooring or related industry preferred
• Knowledge of brands like Shaw, Mohawk, AHF, Cali, Engineered Floors
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean record
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs and navigate stairs
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in-home or outside sales
• Motivated to grow into a sales manager role

Compensation

Potential earnings average around $80,000, with top performers earning $115,000 to $150,000+ annually. Flexible work-from-home options are available.
