Job summary

VieMed Healthcare is seeking a Home Respiratory Therapist to manage clinical, technical, and administrative functions for the home therapy program. You will install and service respiratory equipment in patients' homes, assess needs, and coordinate with physicians to ensure quality care.

The role requires a valid Respiratory Therapist license in the practicing state, medical/respiratory experience, and the ability to maintain records, inventory, and on-call rotation with fellow RTs and staff.

Qualifications

• Medical or respiratory experience.
• A valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Install/deliver respiratory equipment and supplies to patients' homes with ongoing assessments.
• Maintain records, charts and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate clinical with physicians and health care practitioners.
• Maintain inventory and ensure on-call coverage with RTs in the area.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment prior to installation.
• Assist billing and third-party payor documentation.
• Promote home respiratory therapist services to referral sources.
