Remedy Home Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team in the East LA Territory, covering Downey and surrounding areas. You will provide one-on-one in-home therapy to improve rehabilitation outcomes and independence for senior patients.

The role offers flexible per diem schedules, autonomy over patient planning, and a mission-driven team focused on compassionate community care.

Competenze

• Active California PTA license required.
• CPR certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; home health preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Mansioni

• Provide in-home physical therapy services following the Plan of Care.
• Lead therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation programs.
• Support senior care patients to improve strength, balance, and independence.
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and the interdisciplinary care team.
