Job summary

Ptnear is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-home team in Florida. Based in Arcadia, you will deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes under a PT plan of care, with an emphasis on autonomy, flexible scheduling, and patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities include performing therapeutic exercises, mobility and gait training, educating patients and caregivers, documenting visits, and communicating progress to the supervising PT.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
• Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to manage your time and service area independently.
• Home-based care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients' homes — therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
• Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Keep every home visit safe and professional.
• Treat a range of cases — post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.
