Qualifications

• Docteur in Physical Therapy or PT degree approved by an accredited body.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience as a physical therapist assistant preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and solid organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services per physician plan of care and state law.
• Develop individualized PT programs and educate patients, families, and staff.
• Instruct patients and families in use of therapeutic appliances and prosthetics.
• Participate in discharge planning and refer to home health services as needed.
• Prepare clinical progress summaries per organizational guidelines.
• Provide PT assistant consultations and engage in peer review to improve care.
