Job summary

Ignite Rehab (DBA Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy) is seeking a motivated per diem Physical Therapist to provide in-home care in Essex County, NJ. You will deliver 1:1 treatment and develop plans based on physician orders and patient needs.

All levels of experience are welcome, and we will train new graduates. Flexible schedule, options for 1099 or W-2, and a supportive team are offered.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Program Graduate.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey or eligible.
• First Aid, AED and CPR certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area.
• Provide 1:1 treatment and evaluate patients to develop individualized plans.
• Deliver care aligned with professional standards and physician orders.
• Educate family members and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques.
• Plan and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain or improve function.
• Perform initial exam and document visits timely and accurately.
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust care to maximize benefit.
• Willingness to treat geriatric patients.
