Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a 42.5-hour work week in Waterville, Maine. The position focuses on outpatient rehab delivered in the patient's home or an independent living setting, to promote independence and functional recovery.

The PT will assess, plan, and implement therapy programs across a range of modalities and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to meet patient goals and safety needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Experience enabling home-based outpatient rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PT assistants and students as allowed by state licensure.
• Adhere to treatment schedules, complete documentation and attend meetings.
• Evaluate patients, design and progress therapy plans, and document progress.
• Provide in-home or facility-based outpatient rehab focused on home safety and independence.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and functional activities.
• Coordinate with care team and refer to other disciplines as needed.
• Maintain equipment, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality patient service.
