Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a home-based outpatient rehabilitation role in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The assignment runs 14 weeks, at 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift.

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in their homes or in independent living facilities, develop and modify care plans, and educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and safe mobility.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel per state licensure requirements.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedule with timely documentation and meetings.
• Attend and contribute to patient care and related meetings.
• Refer to other disciplines to address patient needs.
• Collaborate with rehab team to select appropriate regimens and adapt plans as needed.
• Promote safe environment and maintain equipment.
