GYMGUYZ, NJ's leading personal training company, seeks a Certified Personal Trainer to deliver one-on-one fitness instruction at clients' homes or preferred locations, upholding exceptional service. Part-time to full-time opportunities available.

You will assess client needs, customize workouts, document sessions in our app, and reassess progress every 4–6 weeks while maintaining reliable transportation to client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC) required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Clean driver’s license with driving record.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workout program developed from the initial assessment.
• Choose customized exercises to meet client needs and goals.
• Demonstrate exercises and ensure correct form with modifications as needed.
• Document and plan sessions in the GYMGUYZ App; complete session notes.
• Conduct client reassessments every 4–6 weeks; track progress.

Job Summary

The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one personalized fitness instruction to clients while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. A GYMGUYZ Trainer will provide professional instruction for each client's health, fitness and wellness goals while providing the highest level of customer service. Job is part time to full time.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC accredited organization).
• Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent. Advanced education preferred.
• All experience levels welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills; verbal, written, and technical.
• Have a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
• Knowledgeable of a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
• Clean Driver’s License/driving record.
• Certified in CPR/AED.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties.

Responsibilities

WORKING TASKS

• Follow the workout program developed from the initial assessment
• Choose customized exercises that provide optimum results per the client’s needs
• Demonstrate each exercise and ensure the client is performing correctly with or without modifications
• Document and plan your sessions in our GYMGUYZ App
• Complete session notes after each client training session
• Conduct client reassessments every 4 – 6 weeks
• Maintain client sessions through GYMGUYZ scheduling software
• Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments

BEHAVIORAL

• Able to motivate clients to their physical limits while providing encouragement and morale support
• Able to be punctual and effectively manage appointments and rescheduling of the make-up training session
• Able to adhere to all company policies
• Able to complete basic administrative tasks and communicate promptly with coworkers and clients in a remote work environment.

SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL, PHYSICAL

• Ensure that the exercise equipment is kept clean and in good working condition after each session
• Ensure safe and effective use of equipment by client and/or groups
• Ensure the integrity of each client's home, office, or the setting of choice
• Able to apply first aid procedures and respond to emergency situational needs
• Able to drive and maintain the GYMGUYZ cargo van for business purposes only, if applicable.
• Other duties as assigned in accordance with the scope of the Personal Trainer position
