Job summary

Allied Caregivers provides in-home personal care to clients in Maine, supporting independence and comfort in familiar surroundings. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will assist with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, and document care using a mobile app, collaborating with clients and the office to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Flexible part-time and per-diem schedules are available, and candidates with a drivers license and English communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care assistance.
• Current Blood TB test and physical examination.
• Valid driver's license with dependable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Preparing meals and helping with light household tasks to maintain a safe, organized living space.
• Providing companionship and social interaction while monitoring clients' overall well-being.
• Running occasional errands when needed.
• Recording care provided and client updates through our easy-to-use mobile documentation system.
• Working closely with both clients and the Allied Caregivers office to ensure quality, consistent care.
