Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc is seeking a Personal Care Aide in Michigamme, MI to assist an elderly male Veteran with bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking to promote independence at home. This is a long-term, part-time role offering 9 hours per week, with a flexible schedule once agreed.

Pay is 22 per hour total, comprised of 18 base plus a 4 per hour bonus for completed shifts within the pay period. A background check and TB skin test are required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• Must get a TB skin test if not current.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking.
• Help client stay independent at home and follow care plan.
• Maintain a compassionate, respectful, and safe care environment.
