Visiting Angels of Topeka is hiring an In Home Personal Aide to support seniors in Auburn, Lawrence, Tecumseh and nearby areas. You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping and helping clients remain safely at home with dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with shopping or grocery delivery.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients based on ability.
• Assist with mobility and travel to doctors or outings.
